Reinventing Pathology: The Autopsy

Jules Berman and I have just completed the first in a series of short articles for LABMEDICINE, the monthly journal of the ASCP, in which we set out to examine various aspects of the practice of pathology and lab medicine with a special emphasis on informatics. Our first article (Reinventing Pathology: The Autopsy. LABMEDICINE 2006;1:54-55) provides a perspective on the processes and procedures surrounding the autopsy. Here is a link to the LABMEDICINE page on the ASCP web site. We also provide here, for six months, access to a PDF file of this same articles for readers of this blog. Watch for additional articles in the series that will also be posted here.
