The largest pathology informatics conference in the country, Pathology Informatics 2012, will take place on October 9-12, 2012, at the Hyatt Regency Hotel in Chicago. Here is a link to entire conference schedule. On-line registration is available as well as walk-in registration. Make plans to attend as soon as possible.
The first day of the conference will be devoted to three workshops: (1) Pathology Informatics Overview (2) Histology Image Analysis, and (3) LIS Strategies in the Era of the EMR. The main conference will consist of three tracks: (1) Clinical Information Management (2) System Support and Connectivity, and (3) Digital Imaging. A total of 11 plenary lectures will also be offered.
More than 50 faculty members will participate in the event. Thirty-one exhibitors will display their products in the vendor ballroom. A small number of exhibitor tables are still available.
