Phadia and Quest are driving healthcare overutilization because they are planting "infomercials," under the guise of newsworthy information. They are pointedly and selectively doing so, when in reality there are much more clinically appropriate and cost-effective options in allergy testing.

Bruce, don't worry about us, we know an infomercial when we see one. And, since I own only two kitchen knives, they've had little effect on me.

Now, I don't get it: on what channel would this video be broadcasted? Do you guys in the US have a "Doctor TV" channel? Are these guys laying the foundation for such a channel? I'd pay for it. The quality cannot be worse than the internet!

(We do know the kind of people lurking on the internet, don't we?)
